Dr. Huba Bruckner

Dr. Huba Brückner received his MA in Electrical Engineering and his MA in Education in 1970 from the Technical University of Budapest. Further studied at Control Data Institute in Frankfurt/Main in 1970/71 then worked for the International Computer Education Center, Budapest (1970-1986) where above teaching he was responsible for developing educational technology, methodology and educational material development and production (including programs for computer aided learning and individual learning). He earned his doctorate degree in information technology in 1983 and his Ph.D. in 2000, both from the Technical University of Budapest.

Between 1986 and 1991 he was the deputy chief editor of ComputerWorld and the founding chief editor of PC World in Hungary. From January 1992 he has been the executive director of the then newly established Fulbright Commission in Budapest. He is active at different NGO-s and was the Chair of the Editorial Board of PC World between 1992-2001. He is an author of many professional articles and books.
